On the 9th September and on a beautiful sunny day, the 18th Annual Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot took place at the Royal Berkshire Shooting School in Pangbourne. The event was extremely well attended and we were privileged to not only watch the Royal Navy’s Black Cats Helicopter Display Duo and the Royal Air Force ‘Red Arrows Display Team’ perform another stunning and spectacular air display but the pilots arrived back on site by helicopter and joined everyone for lunch.
Les Ray and The Wild Bunch took the Team Prize and we were delighted to welcome some new guests who won the Glorious 12th.
The guests heard from Faiza Yasin, a former GOSH patient and Brian Andrews who nursed his wife with the help of Marie Curie nurses. Jon Culshaw provided some wonderful entertainment and Chris Mills, once again, hosted a magnificent auction. Please keep a look out for the announcement of the ‘19th Annual Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot’ which is planned for early September 2016.
